Sun save a point in the dying seconds

A goal by Phil Bass, just fifteen seconds from the end, saved Sun Sports from defeat at Stansted on Saturday, and provided an exciting finish to a plucky contest.
Only seconds before Sun had seen their hosts snatch the lead and threaten to carry off all the spoils - a state of affairs which would have been rank injustice.
In the first half Sun had looked the potential winners.
New boy Terry Clark laid on a great chance for Bass in the fifteenth minute for the centre forward to open the scoring.
Twelve minutes later Bass did the honours for Johnny Wise to increase the lead, and everything looked straightforward.
A miskick by a Sun defender let in Stansted to reduce the arrears, but Sun quickly regained their composure and Clark paved the way for Wise to score again.
Sun kept up the pressure at the start of the second half and both Wise and Bass came close to obtaining further goals.
Then the mud seemed to take it's toll of Sun's stamina.
In the 70th minute Stansted cut down the margin of difference and, seven minutes from the end, the home side drew level.
When, a minute from time, Stansted snatched the lead for the first time, it appeared that nothing would stop them gaining both points.
But Bass had other ideas and, ploughing through mud and water, he forced the ball over the goal line to save the day.
