Redbourn 2 Sun Sports 3                               1964/65                                     HCL Prem

Twice behind but Sun win

Sun Sports were twice in arrears in Saturday's game at Redbourn, but the Watford side's determination and fighting spirit saw them through to a narrow victory.
Redbourn, who used some robust tactics, went ahead through O'Dell after five minutes, but Sun equalised five minutes later when Gerry Bunce, after working the ball upfield with Nicholson, squared it to Terry Clarke who scored.
Exchanges were fairly even for a spell, then in the 27th minute the sun literally got in the Sun's eyes as they lost sight of a high ball in their own goalmouth and Burrow made no mistake in restoring Redbourn's lead.
This lead again was short lived, for two minutes later Terry Clarke slipped a good through ball to centre forward Bunce who side-stepped a defender and placed his shot in the corner of the net.
Sun looked promising in the second half, but were kept waiting until the 65th minute before terry Reynolds hit home a close range shot after a move down the left.
Redbourn fought to get on terms, but once ahead, Sun never let go of their lead.
