Knebworth 2 Sun Sports 6                               1966/67                                        HCL Prem

Sun Sports are on form again

Sun returned to form with a vengeance when their big win at Knebworth on Saturday wiped away the memory of two successive County League Premier Division defeats, although they had to reshuffle their side when centre half Bob Davies strained a thigh muscle just before half time.
Ron Lee's header was deflected into the net by a home defender to give Sun a first minute lead which was increased by well take goals from newcomer Colin Brown and Terry Reynolds.
Just before half time, another own goal gave Sun a 4-0 lead.
Brown added number five in the 50th minute but goals by D Overman (57 minutes) and N Overman (65 minutes) cut Knebworth's deficit to 2-5.
Ronnie Lee, however, made certain of Sun's supremacy with a sixth before the end.
Billy Burke, back in the first team, made a number of outstanding saves in the Sun goal.
