Royston Town 2 Sun Sports 7                            1967/68                                        HCL Prem

Sun have the power

Sun Sports scored their second away win of the season at Royston on Saturday, and displayed plenty of power up front.
Opponents Royston never looked like winning although they were only a goal behind up to the 22nd minute.
Both teams were wasteful - indeed Sun could have had double figures with a little more steadiness, while Royston frittered away two glorious openings.
Paul Froud opened Sun's account after outpacing two defenders and Terry Reynolds slid home the second after Colin Brown had worked the opening.
Parsons cut back Sun's lead but Froud was soon on the mark for Sun again.
This time he headed home a free kick from Tony Stratford.
Kevin Stratford made it 4-1 with a shot through a ruck of players only for Parsons to score Royston's second minutes from the interval.
Royston had chances to peg back Sun's lead at the start of the second half but the inside forwards were very wasteful.
Colin Brown showed them how to score with a goal in the 68th minute, and Terry Reynolds and Brown again, from the penalty spot rounded off the scoring.
