Sun's stamina was the key

As expected, Sun Sports found it no easy matter to remove Division One Dynamics from the Herts Intermediate Cup on Saturday.
Sun's greater stamina told in the second half but their passage into the next round was an expensive one for key forwards Colin Brown and Terry Reynolds both received painful injuries.
Sun took the lead after 15 minutes when Brown's fierce shot was only parried by the goalkeeper and Ron Cole slipped in the rebound.
There was a let off for Sun when a curling shot struck their crossbar minutes later but the game soon settled into a very even pattern.
Colin Brown collided with the Dynamics goalkeeper on the half hour and needed attention to his shoulder.
In fact, he didn't come out for the second half and Dave West substituted.
Allan equalised for Dynamics just before the interval but John Matthews, from the spot, and Ron Cole scored second half goals to boost Sun
