Sun still improving
Sun maintained their improved form when they visited North Mymms on Saturday and gained two easy Herts County League Premier Division points.
Strong in defence, they gave the home forwards few opportunities although they had to wait until the second half to score themselves.
After several missed chances in the first half, Sun came out for the second with more determination.
In the 60th minute, Terry Reynolds tore open the Mymms defence and left winger Peter Nicholson swept the ball into the net.
Ten minutes later top goal scorer Gerry Bunce blasted in a 25 yarder after good work by Ron Cole.
Cole was an outstanding inside right who worked hard to make openings in the home defence.
After this two goal shock, Mymms came back to the attack and Roger Wootton made a spectacular clearance from the line with goalkeeper Tofield beaten.
Barry Phillips completed the Sun scoring in the 78th minute.
