Sun back on victory path
Sun Sports, whose run of five wins on the trot was ended by Leggatts Way Old Boys, returned to the winning path on Saturday with another impressive Premier Division performance at Bedmond.
Colin Tattam, brought into the first team only 15 minutes before the kick off, soon made his presence felt when he brilliantly headed his side into the lead from Matthews cross after only 10 minutes.
Sun increased their lead after 40 minutes when a Matthew's shot was blocked and Terry
Reynolds hit home on the rebound.
For a short spell in the first half, Sun goalkeeper Alan Butler was off the field receiving attention after being Injured when he pulled off a fine save from a home forward, Dave Cresswell deputised in goal.
In the second half, Bedmond played more strongly. but could only manage one goal - from their left winger - and that came 10 minutes from time.
