Field day for Sun

Sun Sports had a field day on Saturday.
They scored seven times for their best win in the Herts County League since they returned to the Premier Division in 1960...maintained their unbeaten home record...and quite clearly on this showing cannot be overlooked as possible champions.
Dave Scutchings put his colleagues in the right frame of mind when after only three minutes he broke away on the left and put in a shot from the edge of the penalty area.
The ball went over the visiting goalkeeper's hands and landed in the net.
Not until the 40th minute did they add to their score, but they made up for the delay by getting two in three minutes - through Scutchings and Terry Reynolds.
Knebworth appeared to gain the initiative in midfield for a spell in the second half, but after missing a good chance to score they were relentlessly pushed back and Sun added further goals through Ron Cole, Terry Reynolds (2) and Barry Phillips.
