Lee hat-trick for Sun Reserves
A gat-trick by centre forward Ron Lee helped Sun Sports Reserves to a convincing win over Preston and a place in the semi final of this season's Herts Junior Cup competition.
Sun have an average of nearly six goals per game in this competition, having netted 34 times and only having three goals against them so far.
They were quick to take command of this game and were a goal up through Lee within two minutes.
Sun looked dangerous whenever they attacked and that was frequently.
A second goal from Lee and one from Kent gave them a three goal interval lead, and after the restart they continued where they had left off attacking strongly.
After 56 minutes Barry Phillips made it 4-0 with a brilliant goal, he beat four defenders and calmly placed the ball past the advancing goalkeeper.
Midway through the half Preston pulled a goal back when a shot was deflected into the Sun goal off the head of a defender.
Sun lost no time in going further ahead and it was Ron Lee who closed their account with the fifth goal which gave him his hat-trick.
