Sun Sports "Double"

Sun, all square at 1-1 after a keenly contested first half, stepped up their challenge for the Herts County League championship when they raced away to a 5-1 lead and went on to complete a double over the strong London Colney side on Saturday.
Sun stared well and forced three early corners, the third one being headed on by Tom Barber for Bob Davies to nod them into the lead.
They continued to have more of the play, but were given a shock when a long, fierce shot hit their crossbar.
Then, in the 38th minute Colney equalised when a right wing cross was headed home by Bourne.
Sun, showing more urgency and determination in the second half, regained the lead after 53 minutes when a John Matthews cross was deflected into the net by a home defender.
Four minutes later, Matthews laid on goal number three for Tom Barber, and a minute after that Colin Brown rapped home a free kick.
Tom Barber got the fifth after 80 minutes, and three minutes later London Colney scored their second through Runchman.
