Sun Sports 5 Colney Heath  2                                1961/62                             HCL Prem

Sun have run into form

Sun put the final touches to erasing the memory of their indifferent start to the season with a decisive victory in the Premier Division match on Saturday, following on their 3-2 midweek win over Redbourne in which Johnny Wise (2) and Terry Hogan got the goals.
The match was not without it's shocks.
After a splendid start thanks to early goals by Glyn East and Terry Hogan, Sun changed down from top gear and allowed the visitors to draw level by the interval.
Sun struggled to regain their form in the second half while Colney Heath attacked strongly and had some near misses.
The safe hands of Cliff Langley kept the visitors at bay, however, until Sun found their touch again and began to look menacing.
The crisis finally came to an end when East put in a good cross shot to give the home side the tonic they needed.
From then on it was plain sailing and Sun clinched the match with two more goals, the first coming from Brian Adkins after some nice inter-play with Johnny Wise.
