Sun Sports 4 London Colney 3 1964/65 HCL Prem
Four in a row for Sun Sports
Two headed goals by centre forward Terry Reynolds helped Sun to their fourth successive Herts County League Premier Division victory on Saturday.
Sun, three up at the interval, relaxed in the second period, and allowed the visitors to score three times, but were never in danger of losing.
Sun forwards started well and Reynolds headed the first goal after seven minutes.
The London Colney goal had some narrow escapes before Ron Coles netted the second in the 20th minute.
London Colney's attack was having little success and winger Gerald Bunce added Sun's third after 35 minutes.
Colney scored first after the interval through Runchman, but a Reynolds' header soon restored Sun's three goal lead.
London Colney's second goal, scored by Bozier, was hotly disputed by the Sun team for offside.
The referee, however, allowed the goal to stand.
Runchman scored a third for the visitors but, in effect, Sun won more easily than the scoreline suggests.
