Sun Sports 0 London Colney 0                          1960/61                                      HCL Prem

Sun's football shook the Champions

In a game of few goal scoring chances, Sun Sports gave quite a polished performance in holding the champions, London Colney, who are currently second in the Premier Division.
Sun probably had the more clear cut opportunities, notably in the second half, but a draw was the fairest of results.
fast, end to end play was the order of the day, and in a snap raid Johnny Dimes grazed the Colney crossbar.
But there was rarely any likelihood of a breakthrough because the defences were on top of their jobs.
Sun's nearest approach to scoring came 15 minutes after the interval when Dimes squared the ball to
Phil Bass, who scooped it against an upright.
After this Sun surprised the visitors with their brand of accurate football, and for a spell Colney were on the defensive.
Sun, however, could not press home their advantage, and the play evened out.
Long before the end it was shaping as a goal less draw.
