Sun's title hopes slump
Five minute from time Alf Howard scored the second goal for Premier Division unpredictables Bristol Siddeleys and gave a severe jolt to Sun's title hopes on Saturday.
Bristols were always that shade faster to the tackle and they were worthy of completing the double over their opponents.
Sun had a stroke of bad luck after two minutes when a Ron Lee lob hit the crossbar.
Bristols seemed undaunted and took an 18th minute lead through Barry Weightman who rounded off a good movement.
Biggerstaff made a fine save in the Bristols' goal to tip over a header form Gerry Bunce as Sun stormed back but they had no luck up to the interval.
Following half time, one of Sun's many corners brought that vital goal.
The ball went over Biggerstaff to Bunce, whose header was heading for the net but Dave Scutchings made sure.
A throw in that was not cleanly gathered by Billy Burke in Sun's goal rolled loose five minutes from the end and gave Howard the chance to stab in the winning goal.
