Sun keep up their challenge

Sun kept alive their Premier Division hopes and clinched their fourth double of the season when John Matthews and Terry Reynolds played vital roles in breaking down a strong Rickmansworth defence.
Rickmansworth. who always seem to play well against strong opposition, contained the Sun forwards in the early stages and gave home goalkeeper Billy Burke one or two anxious moments.
Midway through the first half, however, Colin Brown sent Matthews away on the left wing following a throw in, and the winger centred for Reynolds to score.
Rickmansworth rallied but were further in arrears just before half time when Matthews gained possession near the half way line and made an impressive break before scoring from 25 yards.
Reynolds scored the third early in the second half and narrowly missed a golden opportunity to add a fourth when he drove a penalty wide of goal.
