There was little more enterprise in the game with Leggatts Way on Monday night.
Sun went into an early lead through Terry Reynolds but 10 minutes later Bill Samson secured the equaliser after a cross from Roy Hansard had been palmed out.
The Old Boys owed a lot to their acrobatic goalkeeper, John Fancourt, who brought off a number of number of fine saves, including one from Russell Curzon near the end.
