Sun Sports v Hadley         25th October 2016         Premier Division Cup 2nd Rd

Sun Sports go into the third round of the Dudley Latham Premier Division Cup after a superb performance all round but mainly due to goalkeeper Matty Evans.
On a foggy night at the Sun Stadium the Sun looked sharp and capable of taking the lead but they always had to be wary of Hadley's fast counter attacks.
It was on these occasions when Matty Evans was called into action and got himself in the right place at the right time to be able to narrow the angles and block the shots.
By the end of the first half both sides had managed to hit the post in a close encounter.
The second part of the match continued as the first half did, and the Sun defence handled the Hadley forward's well .
Jack Johnson managed to find space in the penalty area to knock the ball home to give the boys in yellow the lead but Hadley equalised ten minutes before the final whistle.
With no extra time and with the fog coming down again worse than before it was all down to the lottery of penalty kicks.
Matt Evans was the hero again as he saved the fourth penalty, the Sun players scored a full house of penalties and will play Welwyn Garden City in the Quarter final in late November.
Sports will be looking for some revenge as Welwyn knocked the Sun out at the same stage last season.
