Sun Sports v Wembley 21st February 2017 Premier Division Cup Semi Final
Sun Sports came away from the Sun Stadium on Tuesday night disappointed in themselves that they were soundly beaten by Wembley in the Premier Division Cup Semi final.
The Sun took the lead when Kyle Johnson was brought down in the area and George Hobson confidently stepped up to smash the penalty in (pictured).
But soon after that things started to go wrong when Joe Horwood had to come off early in the match with a torn hamstring.
It looks like Horwood will be out for the rest of the season.
The Sun seemed a little out of sorts for the match and didn't seem to gel as they have done so for the majority of matches this season.
Wembley soon equalised and scored again before half time.
Tim certainly had words at half time to the players as they came out to try and get back into the match.
And the Sun should have had another penalty when Andy Brennan was knocked off the ball and stumbled but the referee waved play on and when the advantage was gone a penalty wasn't given.
Wembley then proceeded to go down the other end and score again to virtually kill the game off.
Despite the setback the Sun carried on trying to get a goal and Andy Brennan and Deji Ikusemori both had chances that could have changed the game.
Matty Evans made a fantastic save from a free kick but Wembley scored again ten minutes from the end to win 4-1 to go into the final of this competition for the very first time.
