Sun Sports v Hertford Town 18th February 2017 SSML Premier
The visit of second placed Hertford Town looked to be an interesting affair and the Town soon took the lead after barely two minutes from the first corner of the game.
Hertford took control of the match as the Sun chased for an equaliser and came close with a Kyle Johnson effort.
As the game went on it looked like the Sun might be able to get into the match but then a Hertford defender went down from a Sun corner clutching his face.
Kyle had previously been booked for an earlier incident and this booking would cause his first
sending off of the season.
As half time came manager Tim O’Sullivan knew that he would have to make a shuffle around
and decided to put three at the back to try and get the Sun a point at the end of ninety minutes.
Keeper Matty Evans kept the Sun in it when Town pounced on the counter and made a couple of fantastic saves.
However Hertford scored again halfway through the half which effectively killed off the Sun’s
chances to take a point.
