Sun Sports v Tring Athletic                   14th February 2017                      SSML Premier

Confidence is flowing like a river down Sun Stadium way as the boys in yellow beat another top 5 team in the space of four days.
After the away win at Hoddesdon the Sun showed resilience and hard work to beat Tring Athletic thanks to a super goal from that man again Kyle Johnson.
Tring looked impressive and keeper Matty Evans kept the score level with a great save from an Athletic direct free kick as he tipped the ball onto the crossbar and over.
After a spury of corners from Tring the Sun soaked up all the pressure and finally managed to get the ball out of their area and pressed the Tring defence with Jack Johnson surging forward and Kyle Johnson holding the ball up and turning on a sixpence to beat his marker.
After a goalless first half it looked like only one goal would be enough to take the three points and that’s how it was after Kyle cracked a beauty of a shot from outside the penalty area in the second half.
In an extremely tough match Tring showed their class with some fast moving tactics but the Sun matched them player for player.
Kyle Johnson has now scored 12 goals and with the way things are going looks like he will soon be catching up with top scorer Dom David who currently has 18 this season.
The Sun have now moved up to 12 place and will face another of the top teams in the league on Saturday with the visit of second placed Hertford Town coming to the Sun Stadium.
