Sun moved up to 14th place after Tuesday night's home match against Holmer Green.
The Sun took the game to Green from the start and by the end of the first they could have been six up!
After the first few minutes that Sun had a penalty claim turned down the first decent shot on goal whizzed past the post.
Andy Brennan laid the ball of on the edge of the box to Dom David whose left footed shot clipped the crossbar and went over.
Chris Blunden then took a shot at goal which was parried by the Green keeper who managed to grab hold before Tommy Walsh could get to the rebound.
From a free kick a Holmer ball was floated into the Sun box and a Holmer player rose above the Sun defence to head the ball over the bar, which would be something to worry about later on.
Once again the Sun played well as a team and made some great quick passing moves.
One of these moves consisted of seven straight passes moving from the half line and finding Dom David whose shot whacked against the post.
From the next attack a cross into the penalty area was headed out but found Andy Brennan who hit the ball perfectly with a volley which was blocked, but Chris Blunden picked the ball up and slotted the ball past a defender and the keeper to give the Sun a well deserved lead.
A few minutes later and Sun had doubled their lead as the two Tommies worked well as a pass from Gibson found Walsh with a direct right foot shot outside the area which left the Holmer keeper flat footed.
The way it was going it seemed that the Sun could have pressed on and scored a couple more but this wasn't the case, especially when Holmer Green clawed a goal back from a well executed header from a free kick.
This gave Green more wind to their sails as they pushed forward to try and get an equaliser before half time.
And just before the interval Matty Evans saved a point blank header to keep the Sun in front.
Sun started on the attack in the second half but Holmer Green came back into the match and desperately tried to get back on the scoresheet too.
Joe Horwood got in the way of a excellent shot to keep the Sun in front as well as a couple of close shots going narrowly past the post and in the last minute of the match Holmer had a header that hit the crossbar with the rebound hitting the post.
