Colney Heath 5 Sun Sports 1 1957/58 HCL Premier
Sun hopes crashed
Conditions were severe on Heath's open pitch, but both sides put up a surprisingly good show in spite of the mud and slippery ball.
Sun, fighting against a strong head wind, kept the score down to one goal in the first half and remained well in the game until the last 25 minutes.
With a second half equaliser from Terry Willis, there was, in fact, the prospect of a point for Sun, but Heath ploughed strongly through the mud towards the end and goals by Davis (3) and Cook were added to Fleming's early success.
