A gift goal helps Sun to defeat

One thing this industrial battle did on Saturday, it showed that Sun are improving, even if they were beaten again.
At the start of the season the forwards could not score goals.
They scored twice in this game and might have had more.
The least Sun deserved was to force extra time. What they had to be content with was a defeat by a goal which had a suspicion of offside about it.
De Havilland's first goal was a  gift, a Sun defender putting through his own goal in the 10th minute, and 12 minutes later Templeman added to it.
Sun came back into the picture with a goal from Patterson, and after Weightman's doubtful goal Smith made the score 3-2.
Sun did all the attacking in the closing stages without further reward.
