Sun win hard game

A hard game for Sun to win, this, but their superior football saw them through in the end.
They played with a greater penetration against a stiff breeze in the second half and the forwards got in plenty of strong shots.
Sun found themselves a goal down after 17 minutes, but got back into the game with some determined attacks and at 31 minutes Johnny Wise was on the mark to equalise.
Two minutes before half time Eric Williams drove home a second.
In the second half Sun's forwards developed the through-pass with speed against the wind and within 10 minutes Mick Brightman increased their lead.
De Havilland, whose form belied their position in the league, scrambled a second goal, but with 11 minutes to go Terry Willis rounded off some neat footwork with a well placed shot.
