Dickinson's, who played the better football and had quite a lot of bad luck, ought to have won this game on Saturday at Croxley Green.
It looked very much as if victory was "in the bag" on two occasions, for they were two goals in the lead.
But it speaks well for a spirited Sun that they had to be content with a solitary point.
The home side went ahead in the 15th minute, and through more direct tactics deservedly added to this ten minutes later.
Sun fought back and Bignell reduced the leeway before the interval.
Dickinson's scored soon after the resumption, but goals from T. Willis, a promising 17 years old player, and Bignell wiped out the deficit.
