Sun were in command

This must rank among Sun's best performances, for their big win did not over emphasise their superiority.
They were in command for almost the whole of the game.
In the first half they faced a strong wind but dictated the run of play so convincingly that by half time they were leading 4-1.
The goals coming from Hathaway (2), Smith and Bass.
The second half was largely a series of attacks by Sun, but Knebworth's defenders smothered so many shots that play went to 80 minutes before scoring started again.
Then Williams got his initial first team goal, and after Knebworth had replied, Bass (86 minutes) and Hathaway (88 minutes) took the score to seven.
It was a very clean game, and Sun gave a good exhibition of football.
