Double hat- trick for Leach

On the face of it, the result of this Division 1 match at Welwyn on Saturday looks freakish.
But Sun deserved to continue their winning sequence, and won on a snow covered pitch as easily as the score suggests.
The Sun took 25 minutes to open their account: Then Leach scored the first of his double hat trick.
Two of his goals came in the first half, and the remainder after the restart.
Two minutes later Compton made the score 2-0, and five minutes later Leach netted number three.
Doig converted a penalty for hands to complete the first half scoring.
With the stiff breeze behind them on resuming, Murphy Radio ought to have been seen to better advantage, but they did not make use of this asset, and apart from one shot, which was turned around the post, Powell, the Sun keeper, never looked in danger.
On the other hand, Sun went away in style and Leach (4),  Compton (2) and McDonald completed Sun's tally.
