Sun Sports missed Hathaway

This was an unlucky game for Sun, for eight minutes after half time they lost the service of Dennis Hathaway, who received a knee injury.
Play began evenly, and it was seven minutes before either side looked dangerous.
Defences were not easily beaten, but Gower found a way through to put De Havilland ahead after 35 minutes.
Soon after the restart, Sun enjoyed a bright spell.
Hathaway took full advantage of a fine pass by Williams to equalise, and Sun were in the ascendancy when misfortune befell centre forward Hathaway.
For a time, Sun remained on top and Smith and Bass both went near but De Havilland took the lead through Mardell at 75 minutes.
This was bad luck for the Sun, who had fought well to at least hold their own in spite of their handicap.
