Sun Sports 4 De Havilland (Leavesden) 1                         1957/58                      HCL Premier

Bright two minutes

Two goals in as many minutes put Sun on the winning road on Saturday...even if those successes were rather against the run of play.
With the strong breeze in their favour in the first half, De Havilland's had the better of the exchanges but could not find a way through the home defence.
Sun forwards were much more adapt at going through the gaps in the De Havilland rear guard.
Hence, in the 27th minute, Sparks sent Kenny away to open the scoring and a minute later Palmer made it 2-0.
Sun found it easier going after the change round but it was not until the 75th minute that they added to their score through Palmer.
Leavesden replied only for Sun to have the final say, Palmer, for the third time in the match, being the marksman.
