Sun Reserves, also at home, were not outshone by the senior team.
They, too; showed improvement in their shooting and won by an identical score.
Knebworth started the scoring, but Sumpter and Cook both netted for Sun before half time, and in the second half further goals came from Sumpter, Maloney and Cook.
Burgess, in the home goal, saved a penalty in the closing minutes.
