Sun's big chance

Sun Sports kept alive their promotion hopes with a convincing win over English Electric at Stevenage on Saturday.
Although they did by far the greater proportion of attacking in the first half, Sun were still goal less at the interval.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 54th minute when Len Mellor converted a penalty for hands.
This was the incentive Sun needed.
Three minutes later Roy Box, promoted from the Reserves, dashed in to head home a centre from Wise, and during the next quarter of an hour Mick Brightman and Roy Box took the score to four.
Victory took Sun into second place, and if Marconi, the leaders, should fall, they could become champions.
Marconi have one match to play and Sun two matches.
