The Sun shone through

Two goals scored in the first half were sufficient to ensure victory for the Sun when they opened their Herts County League (Division one) programme at Stanstead on Saturday.
The home side were the first to settle down, but after 15 minutes McDonald put the Sun on the victory road.
Ten minutes before half time, Moulder put the visitors further ahead.
Stanstead did their share of attacking when they had the slope behind them in the second half, but solid defensive play enabled the Sun to hold out.
McGrory at centre half and goalkeeper Griffin played well and were rarely in difficulty.
