Sun 'keeper Haines breaks leg
Sun are asking themselves whether there is a hoodoo on them.
In Saturday's game against Colney Heath, goalkeeper Derek Haines sustained a broken leg and now Sun, for various reasons, are left with only four of their original side which did so well at the start of the season.
Colney Heath were responsible for Sun starting to slide, in the first meeting between the two teams Dave Barton sustained a cartilage injury early on, with the result that Colney Heath inflicted upon Sun their first defeat.
Sun looked all set for revenge on Saturday.
For 25 minutes they held their visitors, then came the injury to Haines and it was obvious that they were fighting a lost cause.
The Heath grabbed a somewhat fortunate goal before half time and slammed two more past Johnny Wise, who had taken over from Haines.
