All square in two hour battle

In this two hour battle in the second round of the Natsopa Charity Shield on Saturday, both sides lived to fight another day...and a draw was the most satisfactory result to a match which could have gone either way.
The finishing of both sets of forwards was off target, otherwise a mark would have gone on the score sheet before the 15th minute when S Chamberlain scored for Sun from 20 yards with a ground shot.
There was a period after this when Sun looked likely to increase their lead but they had to be content with the odd goal ascendancy at the interval.
In the second half a good deal of the play was centred around the Odhams penalty area but this Sun territorial supremacy went unrewarded.
Instead, Odhams broke clear to equalise through Hughes.
Twice in extra time Odhams took the lead, Ward scoring both, but each time Walsh wiped out the deficit.
