Sun shocked - then shone

A keen tussle resulted from this local second round meeting in the Greater London competition.
Sun had plenty of talent in their ranks, but strangely, it was Odhams who got the goal-getting pace in the first 30 minutes.
Thoms and Rodney gave Odhams a 2-0 lead in 15 minutes, and after Boyle had replied for Sun, a third came from Seaward, who made a quick break-through.
However, Sun were now getting together and Cook and Boyle evened matters up before half time.
The Sun showed to advantage in the second half and goals were "clocked in" by Nunn (own goal), Smith, Newstead, Blakeman, and Boyle (penalty).
