Colney ran out winners because they were quicker to take their chances.
They scored twice before Ron Moulder netted for Sun, and at half time led 3-1.
The second half was even, but Colney scored twice against Sun's one success through D Rumbles.
It was an unfortunate game for the referee.
In the first half he received the ball full in the face and his place for the rest of the game had to be taken by a Sun official.
